Kurz zum Klima: Nachhaltige Energieversorgung – der »Energy Sustainability Index«

Abstract

Im Zuge der Energiewende taucht regelmäßig der Begriff des energiepolitischen Zieldreiecks auf. Dieses stellt den Zusammenhang zwischen der Versorgungssicherheit, der Wirtschaftlichkeit bzw. Bezahlbarkeit und der Umweltverträglichkeit der Energieversorgung her. Der Beitrag stellt den »Energy Sustainability Index« vor, der die drei Dimensionen des Dreiecks in einem Wert vereint und die Länder nach ihrer Fähigkeit, eine sichere, wirtschaftlich angemessene und umweltverträgliche Energieversorgung zu garantieren, klassifiziert.
