Kurz zum Klima: Bodenversiegelung in Deutschland und Europa

Abstract

Überall auf der Welt findet eine zunehmende Versiegelung des Bodens statt. Die Gründe für den steigenden Flächenbedarf – hauptsächlich Bevölkerungs- und/oder Wirtschaftswachstum – unterscheiden sich nicht wesentlich in den verschiedenen Ländern. Gleiches gilt für die Auswirkungen von Bodenversiegelung. Der Artikel bezieht sich beispielhaft auf die Situation in Deutschland und ordnet diese in einen europäischen Kontext ein.
