Kurz zum Klima: Windenergie ein Jahrzehnt lang im Aufwind

Abstract

Im globalen Maßstab genoss die Windenergie im ersten Jahrzehnt des neuen Jahrtausends einen enormen Aufwind. Zwischen 2001 und 2011 hat sich die weltweit installierte Windkraftkapazität in etwa verzehnfacht. Deutschland als führendes Windenergieland im Jahr 2001 wurde zwischenzeitlich von China überholt. Der Artikel fasst die Entwicklung der Windkraftkapazität und des Windkraftanlagenbaus zusammen.
