Kurz zum Klima: Nationale Anpassungsstrategien an den Klimawandel in Europa

Abstract

Das Ziel, den Klimawandel auf ein kontrollierbares Niveau zu begrenzen, stellt eine der weltweiten großen Herausforderungen dar und wird eine langfristige Aufgabe für die heutigen und die kommenden Generationen werden. Derzeit besteht eine große Unsicherheit darüber, ob es unter den bisherigen Anstrengungen überhaupt noch möglich ist, die globale Erwärmung auf 2°C gegenüber dem vorindustriellen Niveau zu begrenzen. Angesichts der mäßigen Erfolge der letzten Klimaverhandlungen wird die Anpassung an den Klimawandel zu einem immer wichtigeren Thema. Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die nationalen Anpassungsstrategien der europäischen Länder an den Klimawandel.
