Lohnentwicklung treibt Steueraufkommen: Zu den Ergebnissen der Steuerschätzung vom November 2011

Abstract

Der Arbeitskreis »Steuerschätzungen« hat die Prognose für das Steueraufkommen zum dritten Mal in Folge nach oben korrigiert. Vor allem die Lohnsteuer entwickelt sich aufgrund der starken Lohnentwicklung deutlich dynamischer, als erwartet wurde. Für das Jahr 2012 wird nunmehr jedoch mit einem niedrigeren Wachstum gerechnet. Die finanzpolitischen Spielräume bleiben somit insgesamt gering.
