Abstract

Bei seiner Einführung in das Diskussionsthema des Symposiums wies Martin Czakainski, etv Energieverlag GmbH, Essen, darauf hin, dass sowohl Chancen und Nutzen als auch Risiken mit der Energiewende verbunden sind. So könnten klassische Wirtschaftsbereiche wie Handwerker, Bauwirtschaft, Maschinenbauer sowie Werften und Häfen am Zubau an Windkraft, Photovoltaik, Biomasse etc. partizipieren. Andererseits könnten Zusatzkosten entstehen und zum Verlust von Arbeitsplätzen führen, wenn Industrieunternehmen wegen teurer und unzuverlässiger Energieversorgung ins Ausland abwandern. Gelänge es aber, zum einen Wirtschaftlichkeit, Versorgungssicherheit und die Sicherung von Industriestandorten zu gewährleisten, zum anderen Klimaschutz und technologische Risiken zu berücksichtigen, könnte die deutsche Energiewende 2011 als Blaupause für andere Länder dienen.
