Westdeutsche Industrie: Deutlicher Investitionsanstieg für 2011 geplant

Abstract

Nach den neuesten Ergebnissen des ifo Investitionstests haben die Industrieunternehmen in Westdeutschland im Jahr 2010 gut 38 Mrd. Euro in neue Bauten und Ausrüstungen investiert. Dies entspricht einem Zuwachs von knapp 3%. Aufgrund nahezu stabiler Preise für Investitionsgüter liegt der reale Anstieg bei gut 3%. Angesichts guter Absatzerwartungen sind die Investitionspläne der Unternehmen für 2011 überwiegend nach oben gerichtet. Nach den Meldungen der Unternehmen ist im westdeutschen Verarbeitenden Gewerbe in diesem Jahr eine deutliche Investitionserhöhung von nominal 9% (real: + 10%) zu erwarten. Vor allem die größeren Unternehmen wollen ihre Investitionsausgaben erhöhen, die kleineren Unternehmen haben hingegen ihre Ausgaben für neue Bauten und Ausrüstungsgüter schon im letzten Jahr kräftig aufgestockt. Wie im Vorjahr wollen die westdeutschen Industrieunternehmen in diesem Jahr an erster Stelle in Ersatzbeschaffungen investieren. Allerdings verliert dieses Investitionsmotiv zugunsten von Erweiterungsinvestitionen etwas an Gewicht. In den Planungen für 2011 liegt der Anteil der Erweiterungsmaßnahmen bei 27%.
