MIPEX: Ein Instrument zur Messung der Integration von Zuwanderern

Abstract

Der Migrant Policy Index (MIPEX) versucht, anhand von 140 Indikatoren zu zeigen, wie westliche Gesellschaften mit ihren Zuwanderern umgehen und wie gut die Zuwanderer in die Gesellschaft integriert sind. Der MIPEX wird alle zwei Jahre erstellt und bildet die Entwicklung der Integrationspolitik in Europa ab. Er umfasst sechs Politikfelder: Zugang zum Arbeitsmarkt, Familiennachzug, langfristige Aufenthaltserlaubnisse, politische Partizipation, Einbürgerungsregeln und Anti-Diskriminierung. Die beste Bewertung erzielt die schwedische Integrationspolitik. Deutschland liegt im Mittelfeld der betrachteten Länder.
