Das Modell des BMWI-Beirats

Abstract

Der Wissenschaftliche Beirat beim Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie hat zwei Vorschläge zur Reform der Grundsicherung unterbreitet. Option 1 beinhaltet eine starke Verbesserung der Hinzuverdienstmöglichkeiten zum Arbeitslosengeld II. Außerdem werden Workfare-Stellen angeboten, bei deren Annahme das volle Arbeitslosengeld II gewährt wird. Anderenfalls wird der Regelsatz des Arbeitslosengeldes II vollständig abgesenkt, und es werden Lebensmittelgutscheine ausgegeben. Bei der Option II ist eine Beschäftigung von Arbeitslosen in staatlicher Regie nicht vorgesehen. Gleichwohl wird der Regelsatz für Arbeitslosengeld-II-Bezieher ohne reguläre Beschäftigung abgesenkt. Die Hinzuverdienstmöglichkeiten zum Arbeitslosengeld II werden aber deutlich verbessert.
