Abstract

Am 22. und 23. März 2007 findet die CESifo International Spring Conference statt. Hauptthema der Veranstaltung ist die Verfassung der Finanzmärkte in einem Umfeld sich abschwächenden weltwirtschaftlichen Wachstums. Was sind die Risikopotentiale nach Jahren ohne nennenswerte Krisen angesichts hoher Liquidität und gestiegener Risikobereitschaft der Investoren? Diesem Thema widmet sich schwerpunktmäßig Axel Bertuch-Samuels, Stellvertretender Direktor der Abteilung Geld- und Kapitalmärkte des Internationalen Währungsfonds in Washington. In seinem Vortrag mit dem Titel "Challenges for Financial Markets in Slowing Global Growth?" wird er Überlegungen zur Aktualisierung des Financial Market Update im April 2007 präsentieren.
