Erste Schulreformen: Trendwende in der Bildungspolitik?

Abstract

Aufgrund der schlechten Ergebnisse der deutschen Schüler bei den internationalen Vergleichsstudien ist eine breite Diskussion über das deutsche Bildungssystem entstanden, und erste Schulreformen wurden in die Wege geleitet. Prof. Dr. Johanna Wanka, Präsidentin der Kultusministerkonferenz, sieht hoffnungsvolle Ansätze und erste Erfolge. Dr. Ludwig Eckinger, Vorsitzender des Verbandes Bildung und Erziehung, möchte den notwendigen Qualitätssteigerungsprozess im deutschen Bildungssystem vor allem durch einen Paradigmenwechsel voranbringen, der unter der Überschrift "Weg von der Selektion - Stärker Fordern und Fördern" steht und dessen Voraussetzung auch eine Reform der Lehrerausbildung ist. Und Prof. Dr. Klaus Klemm, Universität Duisburg-Essen, weist in seinem Beitrag darauf hin, dass vor allem Ansätze, die auf Qualitätssteigerung abzielen, zu erkennen sind, aber "die Zahl der Maßnahmen, die Chancenungleichheit abbauen könnten, bedenklich überschaubar (bleiben)."
