Branchen im Blickpunkt: Gemüseanbau in Deutschland – 2004 stetige Ausdehnung bei niedrigen Erzeugerpreisen

Abstract

2004 hat die günstige Wetterlage für Pflanzenwachstum die größte deutsche Gemüseernte seit der Wiedervereinigung hervorgebracht. Die Rekordernteergebnisse hatten jedoch auch historisch niedrige Preise (Rückgang gegenüber dem Vorjahr um 15,4%) auf den deutschen Gemüsemärkten zur Folge. Aufgrund der Witterung im Februar und März dieses Jahres, die bereits in den wichtigen Lieferländern Deutschlands in Südeuropa zu Ernteausfällen geführt hat, ist dagegen für das Jahr 2005 mit spürbaren Preissteigerungen zu rechnen.
