Schweiz: Mühsamer Marsch aus dem Konjunkturtal

Abstract

In der Schweiz verlief die konjunkturelle Entwicklung 2003 noch ungünstiger als im übrigen Westeuropa. Das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt dürfte um ¼% gesunken sein. Auf dem Arbeitsmarkt verschlechterte sich Lage stets. Die Arbeitslosenquote erhöhte sich im Jahresdurchschnitt auf 3,7%. Die Verbraucherpreise stiegen nur geringfügig um 0,6%. 2004 wird das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt vermutlich um 1¼% zunehmen, und die Arbeitslosenquote dürfte im Jahresmittel bei 3¾% liegen. Die Konsumentenpreise steigen um ½%. Im Jahr 2005 wird das BIP um rund 2% expandieren. Die Beschäftigung wird leicht ansteigen, und die Preise werden etwa 1% über dem Niveau des Vorjahres liegen.
