Schweiz: Immer noch die beste aller ökonomischen Welten

Abstract

In der Schweiz stagnierte das Wirtschaftswachstum im Jahre 2002. Auf dem Arbeitsmarkt verschlechterte sich Lage spürbar, und die seit Herbst 2001 registrierte Abnahme der Beschäftigung setzte sich fort. Die Arbeitslosenquote erhöhte sich im Jahresdurchschnitt auf 2,8%. Die Verbraucherpreise stiegen nur geringfügig um 0,6%. 2003 wird das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt vermutlich um rund 1% zunehmen, und die Lage auf dem Arbeitsmarkt wird erst gegen Jahresende besser. Die Arbeitslosenquote dürfte im Jahresmittel auf 3¾% steigen und die Konsumentenpreise um knapp ¾% über dem Niveau von 2002 liegen. Im Jahr 2004 wird das BIP um rund 1¾% expandieren, die Beschäftigung leicht ansteigen und die Arbeitslosenquote leicht sinken. Die Preise werden sich um 1% erhöhen.
