Zeitarbeit - eine schnell wachsende Beschäftigungsform

Abstract

Die Zeitarbeit ist in den letzten Jahren stark expandiert. 1975 betrug die Zahl der Zeitarbeitnehmer in Westdeutschland etwa 11 000, 2001 wurden in Gesamtdeutschland knapp 300 000 gezählt. Trotz dieses Wachstums erreicht Deutschland im internationalen Vergleich der Zeitarbeit nur einen Platz im Mittelfeld. Denn die Ausdehnung der Zeitarbeit dürfte durch die relativ starke Regulierung behindert worden sein. Trotz Liberalisierung der gesetzlichen Rahmenbedingungen in den neunziger Jahren gehört Deutschland Ende der neunziger Jahre zu den drei EU-Ländern mit der striktesten Regulierung der Zeitarbeit.
