Die Lage der Weltwirtschaft und der deutschen Wirtschaft im Frühjahr 2002

Abstract

Am 23. April stellten die sechs Wirtschaftsforschungsinstitute in Berlin ihr Frühjahrsgutachten der Presse vor. Sie kommen zu der Ansicht, dass die Weltwirtschaft vor einem Aufschwung steht. In den USA hat sich die Konjunktur sogar früher als von den Instituten erwartet belebt. In Westeuropa war der Anstieg der Produktion zu Jahresbeginn zwar noch verhalten, das Verbrauchervertrauen wie auch das Geschäftsklima haben sich aber deutlich verbessert. Während die Konjunktur auch in den asiatischen Schwellenländern die Talsohle bereits durchschritten hat, setzte sich in Japan die Rezession zunächst noch fort.
