Schweiz: Glimpflich durch die Konjunkturflaute

Abstract

In der Schweiz schwächte sich das Wirtschaftswachstum im Laufe des vergangenen Jahres rasch ab. Das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt dürfte nur noch um 1½% gestiegen sein. Die Arbeitslosenquote verringerte sich im Jahresdurchschnitt auf 1,8% und verzeichnete somit die niedrigste Rate seit Ende der Achtziger Jahre. Der Preisauftrieb war mit 1% schwach. 2002 wird die Konjunktur zunehmend an Schwung gewinnen. Auf dem Arbeitsmarkt wird sich die Lage wenig entspannen, die Unternehmen stocken ihre Belegschaften eher auf, Fachkräfte bleiben gesucht. Die Konsumentenpreise dürften um knapp 1% über dem Niveau von 2001 liegen. Im Jahr 2003 wird das Wirtschaftswachstum um knapp 2% zunehmen. Der Arbeitsmarkt dürfte weitgehend ausgeschöpft bleiben, und die Preise werden nur sehr moderat steigen.
