ifo Konjunkturtest Oktober 2001 in Kürze

Abstract

Das Geschäftsklima in der Gewerblichen Wirtschaft tendierte auch im Oktober weiter nach unten. In Westdeutschland wurde mit einem Saldo von -26,2% der ungünstigste Wert seit August 1993 erreicht. Die Unternehmen schätzten vor allem die Perspektiven mit erhöhtem Pessimismus ein. In den neuen Bundesländern hat sich das Geschäftsklima unwesentlich verbessert. Vor allem im Großhandel kam es zu einer deutlichen Klimaaufhellung.
