Abstract

Die Abkühlung des Geschäftsklimas in der Gewerblichen Wirtschaft hat sich im April fortgesetzt. In Westdeutschland fielen vor allem die Urteile zur aktuellen Lage schlechter aus als im Vormonat. In den neuen Bundesländern tendierten Lage und Erwartungen gleichermaßen nach unten: Der Klimaindikator erreichte mit -16,5 Prozentpunkten den seit Juni 1996 ungünstigsten Wert.
