Spanien: weiter am Rande konjunktureller Überhitzung

Abstract

1999 ist das reale Buttoinlandsprodukt (BIP) um 3,7% gestiegen, die Arbeitslosenquote sank um 2,9 Prozentpunkte auf 15,9%. Im Jahr 2000 dürfte das reale BIP bei immer noch stimulierender Wirtschaftspolitik um ungefähr 4% expandieren, die Arbeitslosenquote weiter auf rund 14% abnehmen. Für 2001 ist mit einem Wachstum des realen BIP um etwa 3 1/2% und mit einem Rückgang der Arbeitslosenquote auf ca. 12% zu rechnen. Bei allmählich nachlassendem Preisauftrieb dürften die Konsumentenpreise im Jahresdurchschnitt um etwa 3% steigen.
