DV-Dienstleister: Klimaindex bröckelt leicht ab - Fachkräftemangel lässt nach

Abstract

An der 19. vierteljährlichen Konjunkturumfrage des ifo Instituts bei DV-Dienstleistern, die schwerpunktmäßig im Oktober und November 1999 durchgeführt wurde, beteiligten sich 379 Unternehmen. Sie repräsentierten - gemessen am Umsatz - etwa zwei Fünftel des deutschen Marktes für Software und DV-Dienste. Die Geschäftslage im dritten Quartal 1999 und auch die Aussichten für das Winterhalbjahr wurden etwas weniger positiv beurteilt als im Juli/August 1999. Per saldo erwarteten aber immer noch 50% der befragten Unternehmen eine weitere Geschäftsbelebung in den nächsten sechs Monaten, und ebenso viele rechneten damit, im vierten Quartal 1999 mehr umsetzen zu können als ein Jahr zuvor. Die Beschäftigung hat offensichtlich im dritten Quartal erneut zugenommen. Nach wie vor klagten zahlreiche DV-Unternehmen über Mangel an qualifiziertem Personal, die Lage scheint sich aber langsam etwas zu entspannen.
