Gasversorgung 1996/97: auf und ab bei Investitionen und Nachfrage

Abstract

Die Unternehmen der öffentlichen Gasversorgung (GVU) haben ihre Investitionen 1996 noch stärker eingeschränkt als die Stromversorgungsunternehmen. Mit 5,3 Milliarden DM investierten sie um 20% weniger als 1995 und auch erheblich weniger, als sie ursprünglich geplant hatten. Ziel war eine Steigerung der Investitionen um 5% auf 5,6 Milliarden DM. Die mittelfristigen Pläne deuten für 1998 auf stagnierende, für 1999 und 2000 auf sinkende Investitionen hin. Da damit gerechnet wird, daß der Ausbau der ostdeutschen Gasversorgung 1998 weitgehend abgeschlossen werden kann, haben die GVU in den neuen Ländern für 1999 eine sehr starke Einschränkung der Investitionstätigkeit vorgesehen.
