AIECE-Prognose : Weltrohstoffpreise 1998

Abstract

Die Arbeitsgruppe Rohstoffpreise der Vereinigung Europäischer Konjunkturforschungsinstitute (AIECE) hat sich am 3. und 4. April 1997 mit der Entwicklung der internationalen Rohstoffpreise befaßt. Unter der Annahme, daß das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt in den Industrieländern 1997 um 2,6% und 1998 um 2,7% wächst, der Welthandel 7,5% in diesem Jahr, im nächsten Jahr um 8% expandiert und der Wechselkurs des US-Dollar in beiden Jahren bei etwa 1,70 DM liegt, rechnet die Gruppe damit, daß die Preise für nicht-energetische Rohstoffe auf Dollarbasis im Jahresdurchschnitt 1997 stabil bleiben und 1998 um etwa 4% anziehen. Die Preise für Energierohstoffe, die 1996 aufgrund der in diesem Ausmaß nicht erwarteten Verteuerung von Rohöl, um 15% gestiegen sind, werden sich 1997 ebenfalls stabilisieren uund 1998 um etwa 5% nachgeben, das entspricht einem Ölpreis von 19$ pro Barrel. Aufgrund des hohen Gewichts, das Erdöl im Rohstoffindex hat, ergibt sich für den Durchschnitt von Ernährungsgütern, Industrie- und Energierohstoffen 1997 und 1998 jeweils eine leichte Verbilligung.
