Umweltschutz in der Volksrepublik China

Abstract

Der Artikel "Umweltschutz in der VR China" soll einen informativen Überblick über die Umweltlage in China, die chinesischen Umweltschutzmaßnahmen und deren Bedeutung für ausländische Investoren und Produzenten in China geben. Zunächst behandelt der Beitrag die Situation der Luft-, Wasser- Bodenverschmutzung sowie deren volkswirtschaftlichen Kosten. In einem eigenen Abschnitt wird auf die Energieversorgungsproblematik des Landes, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit der Produktion von CO2 und dem Einsatz neuer Energiequellen, eingegangen. Im Folgenden wird anhand eines Modells das staatliche Umweltmanagementsystem kritisch beschrieben. Ergänzend wird auch auf die deutsch-chinesische Kooperation im Umweltschutzbereich auf staatlicher Ebene eingegangen. Der letzte Abschnitt beschäftigt sich mit den Implikationen aus den staatlichen Umweltmaßnahmen für ausländische Investoren und Produzenten in China. Schließlich werden einige Wege zur Kooperation deutscher mittelständischer Umwelttechnologieunternehmen mit China aufgezeigt. Ein Ausblick macht das große Potential deutlich, das in den auf dem Papier bereits vorhandenen Maßnahmen steckt. Er weist aber auch auf die Schwierigkeiten der Umsetzung hin.
