Neue Ladenöffnungszeiten ab 1. November : der Handel in den Startlöchern

Abstract

Seit das veränderte Ladenschlußgesetz Angfang August im Bundesgesetzblatt verkündet wurde, hat der Einzelhandel die Herausforderung angenommen. Viele Unternehmen wollen die Chancen verlängerter abendlicher Öffnungszeiten für iher Verkaufsstellen nutzen. Kleine und mittlere Geschäfte beteiligen sich allerdings nicht immer ganz freiwillig an diesen Vorbereitungen. Der Start in ein "Zeitalter des Verbrauchers" erfolgt zwar zu Beginn einer konjunkturellen Erholung, aber das Konsumklima ist nach wie vor sehr ungünstig. Der Handel sollte daher nicht damit rechnen, daß seine Anpassungswilligkeit unmittlebar durch wesentlich höhere Umsätze belohnt wird. Längerfristig werden die abendlichen Öffnungszeiten allerdings die Ausgabebereitschaft der Verbraucher positiv beeinflussen.
