Weltwirtschaft : auch mittelfristig positive Erwartungen

Abstract

Nach den Meldungen der rund 500 Experten aus 65 Ländern, die sich im Oktober 1994 am "ifo Konjunkturtest international" beteiligten, hat sich das Weltwirtschaftsklima erneut aufhehellt. Die Prognosen der mittelfristigen Entwicklung des realen Bruttoinlandsprodukts, die jeweils im Herbst erhoben werden, sind ebenfalls wesentlich zuversichtlicher als vor einem Jahr. Innerhalb der nächsten drei bis fünf Jahre wird im Weltdurchschnitt mit einem Anstieg des Bruttosozialprodukts von jährlich 3,7% gerechnet. Im Vergleich zu den KTI-Ergebnissen des gleichen Vorjahresmonats haben sich die mittelfristigen Wachstumsaussichten besonders in Westeuropa verbessert, in Lateinamerika sind sie dagegen leicht zurückgegangen. Mit hohen Wachstumsraten für die nächsten drei bis fünf Jahre rechnet man insbesondere in Dänemark (5%), Irland (4,4%), Finnland (4,2%), Norwegen (4%), Frankreich (3,6%), Großbritannien (3,5%) und Spanien (3,5%). Mit prognostizierten jährlichen Wachstumsraten des BSP von 3,5% haben sich die mittelfristigen Wachstumsaussichten für Osteuropa gegenüber den Erwartungen des Vorjahres (2,2%) deutlich verbessert. In Polen und der Tschechischen Republik dürfte die Wirtschaft nach Ansicht der befragten Experten sogar um durchschnittlich 4,5 bzw. 4% pro Jahr wachsen.
