Strukturwandel der deutschen Direktinvestitionen

Abstract

Der Zusammenbruch des Sozialismus und die Öffnung des Ostens hat weltweit einen bemerkenswerten Strukturwandel im Direktinvestitionsverhalten eingeleitet, der sich an den deutschen Direktinvestitionen der vergangenen beiden Jahre besonders deutlich ablesen läßt. In den Drittweltregionen Lateinamerika und Asien bleiben die schon an der Schwelle zum Industrieland stehenden Staaten attraktive Investitionsstandorte. Die großen Verlierer sind die wenig entwickelten Länder - ganz besonders in Afrika. Manches deutet darauf hin, daß Afrika, von wenigen Ausnahmen abgesehen, immer mehr zum reinen Entwicklungshilfeempfänger wird.
