Konjunktur in Japan : nach harter Landung nur schwacher Erholung

Abstract

Nachdem das reale Bruttosozialprodukt (BSP) in den Boomjahren 1987 bis 1991 jeweils um mindestens 4% gewachsen war, stieg es 1992 nur noch um 1,5%. 1993 wird das reale BSP abermals höchstens in der gleichen Größenordnung zunehmen. Auch 1994 werden die Auftriebskräfte noch relativ schwach ausgeprägt sein, das reale BSP dürfte aber doch um etwa 2,5% wachsen. Der Leistungsbilanzüberschuß, der 1993 auf ein neues Rekordhoch zusteuert, wird wahrscheinlich - bei leicht verschlechterten Terms of Trade, wieder steigendem Dienstleistungsdefizit und anhaltendem politischen Druck auf Japan - etwas zurückgehen.
