Aufschwung Ost : beim Gas zügig realisiert

Abstract

Seit der Wende werden auch in Ostdeutschland energiepolitische Entscheidungen stärker nach ökologischen und ökonomischen Kriterien gefällt. Dieser Wandel kommt insbesondere dem Erdgas zugute. Die Substitution von Energieträgern, die hinsichtlich spezifischer Emissionen, Versorgungsssicherheit und Preis ungünstiger sind, führt dazu, daß in den neuen Bundesländern im Jahr 2000 etwa doppelt so viel Gas verbraucht werden dürfte wie 1991. Während die Industrie wahrscheinlich kaum mehr Gas beziehen wird als 1991, verdreifacht sich die Gasnachfrage der Haushalte und Kraftwerke, bei den Kleinverbrauchern wächst sie auf das Zweieinhalbfache und für die Fernwärmeerzeugung fast auf das Doppelte. Das Gasaufkommen wird künftig zunehmend auch aus westlichen Quellen gedeckt.
