Die Hintergründe des Investitionsbooms in der westdeutschen Ernährungsindustrie

Abstract

Wie aus den Daten über die Investitionstätigkeit und -planung westdeutscher Unternehmen in der ehemaligen DDR zu erkennen ist, plant das Nahrungs- und Genußmittelgewerbe, verglichen mit anderen Branchen des verarbeitenden Gewerbes, die umfangreichsten Investitionen in der ehemaligen DDR. Die westdeutsche Ernährungsindustrie will aber offensichtlich den ostdeutschen Markt zum Teil weiterhin von westlichen Produktionsstätten aus beliefern. In den alten Bundesländern sind nämlich für 1991 und 1992 ebenfalls bemerkenswerte Kapazitätserweiterungen geplant.
