Stand von Bautätigkeitsstatistik und Bauberichterstattung in den neuen Bundesländern

Abstract

Der Monatsbericht im Bauhaupt- und Ausbaugewerbe wird durch die neuen statistischen Landesämter bereits seit 1/1991 abgewickelt. Die Bautätigkeitsstatistik, konkret der Nachweis der monatlichen Baugenehmigungen und Fertigstellungen, stellt sich noch problematisch dar. Konsistente Zeitreihen - auch über die DDR-Zeiten hinweg - erfordern Korrekturen an den alten Zahlen. Der Wohnungsbau der DDR im Zeitraum 1971 bis 1988 ist um rund 1.110.000 Wohnungen überhöht nachgewiesen worden. Der gegenwärtige Wohnungsbestand in der ehemaligen DDR ist mit ca. 7 Mill.Wohnungen, 20 Mill. Wohnräumen (ohne Küchen) und 450 Mill. qm Wohnfläche ausgewiesen.
