Standort Bundesrepublik Deutschland - Stand und Entwicklung der Rahmenbedingungen für unternehmerische Investitionsentscheidungen

Abstract

Der Verfasser betont, daß für die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit eines Unternehmens bzw. eines Landes nicht die "statische Effizienz" ausschlaggebend sei. Wichtiger sei die Fähigkeit, sich einerseits Veränderungen schnell anpassen und andererseits auch innovativ vorausgehen zu können. Erfolgreiche Standorte müssen "produktiv", "fit" oder "anpassungsfähig" sein. Die Ausführungen schliessen mit der sehr zuversichtlichen Prognose, daß die deutsche Wirtschaft nach den sieben guten Jahren seit 1984 ab 1992 "die Riemen nicht enger schnallen" brauche. Im Gegenteil: Der Binnenmarkt und natürlich auch der Nachholbedarf in den neuen Bundesländern wird neue Wachstumschancen nicht nur für den Standort Bundesrepublik, sondern für die gesamte EG bringen.
