Insolvenzen und Gewerbeabmeldungen in Sachsen: Schlägt sich der Krieg in den Zahlen nieder?

Abstract

Der Ausbruch des Krieges in der Ukraine im Februar 2022 traf Sachsens Wirtschaft zu einem sensiblen Zeitpunkt. Die Rezession, ausgelöst durch die Coronakrise, schien gerade überwunden zu sein und die Wirtschaft wieder Fahrt aufzunehmen. Die Befürchtungen waren groß, dass viele Unternehmen in dieser zweiten Krise einer Schließung nicht mehr entgehen könnten. In Krisenzeiten liegt oft der Fokus auf den Insolvenzahlen. Sie gelten als ein bedeutender Gradmesser für die wirtschaftliche Lage. Dieser Artikel zeigt, dass die Gewerbeabmeldungen ein deutlich relevanterer Indikator sind und die Befürchtungen hinsichtlich steigender Insolvenzzahlen, aber auch in Bezug auf Gewerbeabmeldungen, nicht eingetreten sind.
