Welche Faktoren begünstigen die Erholung der deutschen Kreise von der Finanzkrise?

Abstract

Infolge der globalen Finanzkrise brach das Bruttoinlandsprodukt je Einwohner der deutschen Kreise im Jahr 2009 im Vergleich zum Vorjahr deutlich ein. Dieser Beitrag untersucht auf Kreisebene, welche Faktoren dazu beitrugen, dass sich das reale Bruttoinlandprodukt je Einwohner vollständig und relativ schnell wieder erholte. Unsere Ergebnisse zeigen, dass vor allem eine breit aufgestellte Wirtschaftsstruktur sowie ein stabiler Arbeitsmarkt ausschlaggebend zu sein scheinen.
