ifo Konjunkturprognose für Ostdeutschland und Sachsen 2016/2017: Ostdeutsche Wirtschaft wächst stabil

Abstract

Das preisbereinigte Bruttoinlandsprodukt Ostdeutschlands (mit Berlin) dürfte im Jahr 2016 um 1,7 % und im Jahr 2017 um 1,3 % wachsen. Im Freistaat Sachsen dürfte die reale Wirtschaftsleistung mit 1,8 % in diesem und 1,5 % im kommenden Jahr 2017 geringfügig kräftiger expandieren. Dies sind die zentralen Ergebnisse der Konjunkturprognose der Dresdner Niederlassung des IFO INSTITUTS vom 28.06.2016. Gestützt wird die konjunkturelle Entwicklung weiterhin von der kräftigen Binnennachfrage, insbesondere dem privaten Konsum. Weitere positive Impulse kommen von der Flüchtlingsmigration sowie der im laufenden Jahr steigenden Nachfrage aus der Industrie in Deutschland. Bei alledem dürfte sich der Beschäftigungsaufbau auf dem ostdeutschen und dem sächsischen Arbeitsmarkt fortsetzen.
