Steigerung der Innovationsfähigkeit muss stärker in den Fokus der Förderpolitik rücken : das sächsische Beispiel zeigt warum

Abstract

Die aktuelle Wachstumsdynamik der ostdeutschen Industrie lässt im Zuge der damit einhergehenden Umsatzsteigerungen auch eine Verbesserung der betrieblichen Ertragslage erwarten. Diese wiederum könnte Mittel freisetzen, um stärkere Innovationsanstrengungen realisieren zu können. Ein Blick auf die Rahmenbedingungen, mit denen es innovationsorientierte Industrieunternehmen in Ostdeutschland insbesondere in Sachsen zu tun haben, gibt eher zur Skepsis Anlass. Ob das derzeit günstige Wachstumsklima auch ein günstiges Innovationsklima erzeugt, wird anhand der Ergebnisse des ifo Innovationstests analysiert.
