Die Wachstumsaussichten der sächsischen Regionen im europäischen Vergleich - "European Regional Prospects"

Abstract

Die kürzlich von ERECO veröffentlichten European Regional Prospects“ zeigen die ökonomischen Perspektiven der europäischen Stadtregionen für den Zeithorizont bis 2006 auf. Treibende Kraft hinter der Wirtschaftsentwicklung sind die marktbestimmten Dienstleistungen. Eine besonders dynamische Entwicklung wird für die an der europäischen Peripherie gelegenen Städte wie Dublin oder Athen und für die mitteleuropäischen Transformationsländer erwartet. Für die sächsischen Regionen zeigt die Prognose im Vergleich zu den wirtschaftsschwachen Ziel 1-Gebieten der EU überdurchschnittliche Wachstumsaussichten auf.
