Ist der deutsche Arbeitsmarkt durch eine Migration der Bevölkerung aus Tschechien bedroht?

Abstract

Nach der EU-Erweiterung wird mitunter eine massive Abwanderung der Bevölkerung Mittel- und Osteuropas in wirtschaftlich hochentwickelte Staaten wie Deutschland befürchtet. Eine detaillierte und tiefgehende Umfrage in der tschechischen Bevölkerung liefert dafür keine Anhaltspunkte. Die Tschechen sind heimatverbunden. Begrenztes Interesse besteht an einem befristeten Arbeitsaufenthalt. Mit Pendlern ist nur aus dem engeren Grenzgebiet zu rechnen. Vor allem junge, gut ausgebildete Tschechen erwägen einen zeitlich begrenzten Auslandsaufenthalt zum Geldverdienen und Erwerb von Sprachkenntnissen.
