These latter factors, in fact, are not a direct cause of migration, but are favorable elements of migration. It is also worth noting that modern globalization is not only determined by technological progress, but also by political and ideological changes. The paper presents a brief analysis of the main features of globalization and its impact on the volume, structure and trends of migration flows.
