Abstract

Considered to be the most requested services by people of all ages and all genres, personal care and beauty services have seen an upward trend that is hard to match with other categories of services. Whether we are talking about hairdressing, hairdressing, manicure and pedicure services, make-up services, massage services, body care services, or other categories that can be included in this segment, we can say without the fear of failing that we are witnessing a spectacular leap of these services lately in Romania. We have proposed in this paper to analyse the number and structure of economic agents with subject of activity of personal beauty services and to establish the trend recorded by them in the last period in Romania. We will use the studies on this subject as well as statistical data available at this time.
