Influences Of Economic Evolution On The Unemployment Specificity In The S-V Region, Oltenia

Abstract

Analysis of the local unemployment has been performed in the S-V region, Oltenia. The typology of the unemployment were subjected to analysis and their influence on the character of the local unemployment. It has been observed that the character of the unemployment in the counties of Dolj and Gorj and Vâlcea are strongly influenced by the frictional type of unemployment, since the unemployment in Mehedinți and Olt has the character of a cyclical unemployment, due to the economic depression in the two counties. Based on the obtained results it has been concluded that specific economic and social measures should be taken. The economical developed counties require social measures to increase the willing of population to access jobs, even if necessary to relocate from rural to urban areas. The economical low developed counties should receive higher protection by economical measures and or legislation specific to bankruptcy.
