Abstract

Il tirocinio extracurriculare è una misura formativa di politica attiva ormai da molti anni oggetto di discussioni e polemiche. Per alcuni è un istituto essenziale per l’inserimento dei giovani nel mondo del lavoro; per altri è invece uno strumento che, essendo troppo spesso utilizzato in modo illegittimo, finisce perlopiù per generare precarietà anziché occupazione. Scopo dell’articolo è fornire una lettura complessiva del fenomeno, basata, da un lato, sull’analisi dell’evoluzione normativa dell’istituto e, dall’altro, su una ricognizione dei risultati della concreta attuazione dello strumento. Vengono svolte, infine, alcune riflessioni sulle principali criticità del sistema italiano del tirocinio
