The Progressive Expansion of Apprenticeships to Promote Training and Employment for Adults

Abstract

Da alcuni anni si assiste in Europa a un allargamento agli adulti della platea di beneficiari dell’apprendistato. Alcuni Paesi europei, sotto la spinta dei cambiamenti demografici e dell’innovazione tecnologica, stanno, infatti, cercando di adeguare i propri sistemi duali alle specifiche esigenze degli adulti, con particolare riferimento ai low-skilled, con la finalità di promuovere lo sviluppo di competenze di base e professionali richieste dal mercato del lavoro e favorire l’occupabilità di questa platea di utenti. L’analisi di tali processi di trasformazione - condotta nell’ambito di una ricerca svolta dall’INAPP analizzando la letteratura scientifica e i rapporti istituzionali disponibili – consente di individuare gli elementi che favoriscono/ostacolano la presenza degli adulti in apprendistato, da cui trarre indicazioni per promuovere anche in Italia l’utilizzo dell’apprendistato da parte della popolazione adulta.
