Construire une organisation alternative

Abstract

This article contributes to a stream of reflections around the definition of alternative organizations. However, given the plurality of both the organizations studied and the theoretical lenses used for their analysis, the question of what brings together this field of research occurs: what is an alternative organization? This article offers to answer this question with two contributions. The first one is to give visibility and legitimacy to feminist literature, so that it can be acknowledged that these works can offer contributions to a reflexion on alternative organizations. The second contribution is to problematize alternative organizations, and offers to show how it can shed a new light on some issues in management. To organize collective action, some dissonances must be identified and accepted, which acknowledges an unavoidable instability of organizations.
