Vers une ingénierie de la recherche en sciences de gestion

Abstract

How can management research be both useful to firms and a contribution to scientific knowledge? To meet these twin objectives, the authors propose an ?engineered research? approach ? where the research becomes an ?organizational engineer? who develops a tool, implements it within a firm and evaluates it with end users. They cite several examples of recent research which led to practical applications. This article is also defense of the constructivist approach ? as well as other approaches which take into account the complexity of management process.
