L'externalisation : de l'opérationnel au stratégique

Abstract

Outsourcing is rather spontaneously related to the operational efficiency and performance dimensions than to the strategic expansion of companies. The traditional understanding of the outsourcing is about cost cutting way. It is thus illustrative of a short term concern. To be truly strategic outsourcing requires a preliminary assessment of the axes of development and future competencies of the company. It requires also a selection of a partner able to make of it a real vector of the company strategy. Lastly, it requires flexible contractual devices likely to accompany the development over time. This article proposes a managerial methodology and invites to follow the main five steps suggested.
