Déréglementation des services de télécommunications en République Démocratique du Congo et inégale répartition des ressources

Abstract

Deregulation (opening in competition and privatization) in Democratic Republic of Congo should favour the modernization of networks, friends broadcasting and the diversification of services, falling of prices to the advantage of the users and the homogenization of the national territory. Therefore, in the light of Congolese experience, can we say today that this reform led to results it ? How does the services of telecommunications (the fixed and cellular phone), on quantitative and geographical plans in DRC share themselves out ? This paper contributes to bring some elements of answers to observable economic and social consequences of deregulation, and to analyze strategies of the operators in liberalized and globalized environment. A broad place is dedicated to the theoretical study of the foundations of the location of telecommunications services.
