L'intégration du système financier en Europe

Abstract

This paper examines the origin of European financial integration and its effects on global efficiency. Banks are intensive users of both integrated IT and integrated financial technologies, and have a wealth of data available that may be helpful for the general understanding of the effects of finance and banking integration. We try to examine the European financial system integration factors taking into account the obstacles. In addition, the research indicates that the Straight Trough Processing likely helped, facilitates consolidation of the industry and operational integration. JEL Code : G2.
