Abstract

The 2007 crisis produced ambivalent effects on mainstream economics. Economic history is more highly valued, several central banks have disavowed the theory of exogenous money and representative agent macroeconomic models (DSGE) have been much criticized. Yet these models have so far not been abandoned. In addition, the heart of neo-classical theory, microeconomics, was not really influenced by the crisis, except by the reinforcement of ?behavioral economics,? questioning the hypothesis of rationality.
