Abstract

Le shogun de Nagasaki acceptait un navire portugais par an et l'introduction d'un seul exemplaire d'un produit innovant au seizième siècle. Le plus grand nombre d'entreprises qui adoptent aujourd'hui des procédures « Qualité » basées sur un principe d'amélioration continue se situent aujourd'hui en Europe et en Asie-Pacifique. D'une « Tradition » basée sur une innovation au compte-gouttes comme au temps des shoguns, nous sommes passés maintenant à des démarches « Qualité » qui forment une association dynamique d'une « Tradition » (les routines formelles et informelles assurant la qualité des produits et des services) et de l'Innovation. L'ouvrage dirigé par Naïade Anido Freire se compose de douze chapitres explorant les facettes de cette relation entre Tradition et Innovation.
